Remote and austere compared to the Palace though the Holiday Villa may be, His Highness King Diggory Laplaza always kept it well stocked with the finest teas. However, he still worried he had made some kind of terrible faux pas by not thinking to stock any tea suitable for ghosts. In fact, he realised that he didn't even know what such a thing might look like, never mind where to buy it from. He was relieved when, after letting out his usual hollow, deep laughter like the toll of grave bells, the Ultimate Ghost reminded the King that, if he could pick up humans and be wounded by swords, he was solid enough in the physical realm to drink tea.
"The Guild does have its own speciality brand of hemlock and piranha plant tea," said the Ghost, referring to the Level Boss guild of which he was high ranking enough to run his own dungeon, if too indifferent to the petty politics of the hierarchy to progress much further, "However, I'd much rather have a nice mug of Earl Grey. It's nice to share pleasures with a friend that won't result in them being poisoned or eaten back."
"We could share a pot, then, I'm rather partial to Earl Grey myself," said the King, reaching for the correct jar on the shelves. Pouring out a few spoonfuls of tea into the pot, he set the kettle to boil. Later, he would take his secret companion fishing on the famed lake of Enigma Island, wait for it to grow dark so they could sit and watch the strange lights appear over the water at night. Together in the middle of nowhere, they could finally discuss matters that they did not want overheard. That had always been the purpose of the Villa.
