On Snowcap Mountain, Lydia was throwing a party outside their little hut. As usual, Franz and the bunnies were invited, as well as all the other Magypsies. Night had fallen and everyone sat around the picnic benches, gazing up at the stars and watching the Northern Lights come into view. It had taken a lot of coaxing to persuade the shy, reclusive rabbits outside, even more to also lure out their still rather traumatised custodian, who was convinced that every sudden loud noise was the Pigmask Army come for him, to execute him for deserting. They all stayed relatively quiet, giggling and chatting together and drinking complicated cocktails and eating little cupcakes from a fancy tiered cake stand in the middle table. The cute bunnies were particularly fussed over and there were a few non-serious attempts to flirt with Franz when Lydia wasn't looking. He hadn't liked the sort of parties Pigmasks got invited to, all rowdiness and boasting, DCMC music blared over the speakers and beer spilled everywhere. This was the first time he'd really enjoyed himself at a party with real friends. True, they weren't exactly normal people but then who was, since the whole world went crazy?
