"There's the attics," said June-Lily.
"So we dress up like our great-great-great-great-grandmothers?" said Astra, her eyes narrowed.
"I've managed ever since my parents died," said June-Lily.
Astra scowled.
Solange whispered, "She must have gotten what she's wearing somehow."
Astra's eyes narrowed still farther, but she joined them in climbing the stairs. Up. Up higher. And then higher yet, though Solange did think that laying out the sun and moon in glittering mosiac on the stairs was a bit much.
And then they were in an attic.
With the size of the cottage, she wondered they had so much to fill it up. June-Lily was already pulling out shirts and skirts.
Solange's eyes narrowed. All of which were in colors becoming either to her or Astra. And she thought they would fit.
